Olive Garden's newest entree, Chicken & Shrimp Carbonara, was inspired during the chefs' recent trip to the Italian region of Rome. The menu item and recipe combines chicken and shrimp with bucatini pasta in a pancetta and parmesan cream sauce.
Light Spaghetti Squash Shrimp Carbonara is a healthy and low-carb recipe with all of the great flavors of carbonara without all the fat and carbohydrates from the traditional pasta dish. The lightened up version is loaded with tender shrimp and creamy spaghetti squash. I would sub turkey bacon in place of regular bacon.
