The shipwreck of Kyrenia, the wreck of a hellenistic ship (3rd century BC) found near Kyrenia. It was discovered by Greek-Cypriot diving instructor Andreas Cariolou in November 1965 during a storm. The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald - Sank in a Lake Superior storm on November 10, 1975, with the loss of the entire crew of 29. When launched on June 8, 1958, she was the largest ship on North America's Great Lakes, and she remains the largest to have sunk there.

Whitefish Point, Michigan...if you don't want to go to Hell, Michigan, you can go to Paradise...lots of interesting things to see there...one of my favorites...the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum...North of St. Ignace on Hwy 123, along Lake Superior. For the record, Hell is roughly 340 miles due south of Paradise.
