The statements relate to the different types of numbers in the Real Number System: Real, Irrational, Rational, Integer, Whole, and Natural. 8.2A Extend previous knowledge of sets and subsets using a visual representation to describe relationships between sets of real numbers
TEKS 5.5A classify two-dimensional figures in a hierarchy of sets and subsets using graphic organizers based on their attributes and properties. Fifth graders will fill in this graphic organizer and identify the names of the polygons and students will completely fill out the entire organizer correctly. I plan on using this as a recording sheet for when students are exploring different polygons.
