I ❤ crazy quilts . . . The quilt on the cover was made 'in house' at Leisure Arts, Inc. They decided to use embroidery thread for all the designs rather than the silk ribbon. I was not thrilled about them substituting thread for ribbon, but just had to get over it. ~By Pat Searcy, Arkansas

The Smyrna Church located on Hwy 36, west of Searcy [Arkansas]. Built in 1876 from a white oak tree. The tree was cut in 1865, rings of stump under church verified. Much of the existing white oak wood is still seen inside. Smyrna is the oldest documented church building in Arkansas and is among five known antebellum churches still standing in the state. White County Historical Society, Searcy Arts Council, AR Historic Preservation Society. ~ Gary Marshall (Arkansas Pictures/Facebook)
