Norwegian fish patties.  1lb raw skinless boneless codfish 2 1/2 cups flour 1/2 cup milk or cream 2 eggs 1 tsp cloves 1 tsp dry dill 1 tsp nutmeg 2 tsp salt 2tsp pepper 1 tsp ginger paste.   Mix in blender or food processor. It will be runny:) Sautee in pan in butter until golden. Serve with potatoes and green peas.  I also make a cold saus with 1 tsp Dijon mustard and 1cup 1/2 & 1/2. Salt and pepper to taste. Drizzle over warm patties. Yummy!

"swedish nougat" translated:  Ingredients:125g butter, 5 3/4 cup sugar, 1 3/4 cup water, 6 ½ cups flour,   4 cups powdered sugar, 1 cup cocoa. Put butter, sugar and water in a saucepan. When it begins to melt stir it & boil for 2 minutes.In the meantime, mix the flour, icing sugar and cocoa in a food processor. Mix until smooth. Quickly pour onto a prepared baking sheet. It hardens very quickly. It is important to not over-mix or it may be difficult to get out. When cool, cut into squares.
