Actually one of my favorite recipes!!! SUBSTITUTIONS: I use low carb dreamfields pasta instead of regular, fat free half and half instead of regular, and lean prociutto instead of pancetta. Pasta Carbonara With Spicy Sausage... really easy and tastes like the real thing for about 1/2 the calories and less than 5 net carbs.
Creole Carbonara- (Italian Carbonara-"Creolized". Traditional Carbonara would include egg, Creole Carbonara replaces the egg, which gives this dish a great richness, with sharp cheddar cheese. (Great for a party or crowd because it goes far)
Spaghetti Carbonara from Delish/Martha Stewart Living I've made this before, quick and easy. On the rare occasion we eat bacon, I'd like to try this again with brown rice spaghetti and some raw milk cheese.
