Sammy DAVIS Jr. (1925-1990) * AFI Top Actor nominee > A "contract" was put out by Harry Cohn due to his interracial affair with Kim Novak, threatening 'you will lose your other eye' if it continued. Allegedly Frank Sinatra intervened and saved the day, but Davis married black showgirl Loray White, out of fear for his life. Lasted a few months before Davis got it annulled. Loray allegedly received $10,000 and a cadillac.
