You're looking at Crocodylus Park's first saltwater crocodile hatchlings of the season. About 3,500 of these chompers are expected to be born between now and June. They look cute now, but when they grow up, they'll have some serious bite.
The Saltwater Crocodile (Crocodylus porosus), also known as saltie, estuarine or Indo-Pacific crocodile, is the largest of all reptiles, as well as the largest predator in the world. Males can reach sizes of up to 6.7 m (22 ft) and weigh up to 2,000 kg (4,400 lb). It is a formidable and opportunistic ambush predator capable of taking almost any animal that enters its territory, including fish, crustaceans, reptiles, birds, & mammals including humans.
