Romanesque style - is marked by great variation in decoration.  The carvings are very geometric and appear above the portal (archway) into a cathedral.  Note the columns are slender with a smallish capital.  The capital does have some carving at the top that is very detailed.

The Royal Pantheon in the Basilica of San Isidoro in León, Spain. "This funeral chapel of the kings of León is one of the examples of surviving Romanesque art in León. The columns are crowned with rare Visigothic capitals, with floral or historic designs. The 12th century painted murals are in an exceptional state of preservation and consist of an ensemble of New Testament subjects along with scenes of contemporary rural life."
