Beautiful Concrete Detail of Busch Memorial Stadium, later known as Busch Stadium, was the home of the St. Louis Cardinals National League baseball team from May 12, 1966 to October 19, 2005; designed by Sverdrup & Parcel and built by Grün & Bilfinger.
The owner, Lynn Gallagher, purchased the home with her late husband, Dr. Robert Gallagher, a dentist, for a little over $150,000 in 1981, according to public records. Mr. Gallagher died in 2010. The home was originally commissioned for Margaret Esherick, the niece of renowned sculptor Wharton Esherick, according to Mr. Whitaker. The one-bedroom home measures roughly 2,700 square feet and sits on a 0.6-acre parcel.
