Roasted pecans Southern Roasted Pecans Recipe. This is the one I used and takes 30 minutes at 250, stirring every 10 minutes. Made in cast iron skillet with 1/4 stick butter and salt. (Can use more butter if you like and the original recipe calls for 1/2 stick!) Just prefer less butter. :) These are divine and will go fast at a party!!!
From a reviewer: "For those making odd-sized batches, you need approx. 1 TBSP butter per 1 cup of pecan halves. I tend to like a lighter touch on salt, so I added 1/8 tsp. per cup of nuts (or approx. 1/2 tsp. per pound of pecans)."
