We offer Retinal Photography. Retinal Photography is an important tool that can assist in the early detection of eye diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, precancerous and cancerous lesions, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. http://drrosenak.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/ROO-retinal-flier.pdf
Congenital hypertrophy of the retinal pigment epithelium (CHRPE) is usually found before patients reach 30 years of age. They may enlarge with time, but are not commonly associated with malignant transformation. There has been an association made between people with Gardner's Syndrome (familial colonic polyposes) and CHRPE.
Introducing our latest technology: Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). Traditional eye exams and retinal photography only examine the surface of the retina. The first signs of eye disease often appears below the surface of the retina. The OCT looks beneath the surface to help our eye doctors uncover early signs of disease. Early detection and treatment of eye disease may prevent vision loss. Request your OCT imaging today!
