using 3/4 cup of oil & 1/4 cup vinegar to restore wood on old furniture without having to strip the pieces - trying this now! First of all, I’ve used white or apple cider vinegar and vegetable or olive oil…whatever I had on hand. Second, you simply mix it in a jar, dip a clean cloth into the mixture, then rub it into the wood. You don’t need to wipe it off; the wood just soaks it in.
