Long Skirt for Costume in Burgundy - RenFaire Costume - Pirate Wench - Renaissance Faire - Dickens - Civil War Reenactment - Handmade

This lovely Long Skirt is Perfect for wearing to a Renaissance Faire, Pirate Wench, Victorian, Dickens or Civil War Costume Events. And, it's a great addition to your wardrobe for a Theater Production, School Play or Period Reenactment Event! ** Note: Listing is for the long SKIRT ONLY. ** This is a Ladies Size, "one-size-fits-most" type costume skirt, with a drawstring waist. ( Not available in different sizes.) ** The blouse, belt and sash pictured are for display only and NOT included in the listing.** This drawstring waist Skirt is handmade in a purple color, easy care cotton blend broadcloth. I use a good quality Poly/Cotton blend fabric that's so comfortable and drapes beautifully! The skirt has a drawstring waist that's adjustable to fit Ladies Sizes Small to X-Large. (*If you wear an x-small size, this type of skirt may not be right for you.) It's made with four yards of fabric and measures 143" circumference around the waist and bottom edge, 41" length from waist to hem, a half-inch rolled hem, and you can shorten to length needed. The drawcord is a high quality braided cotton cord, 72" long and very sturdy. The last picture shows the skirt alone with the drawstring visible. (The drawcord has wooden beads tied at the ends to keep cord from slipping inside the casing.) This type of waist has a casing for the drawstring instead of a waistband, so it looks best to wear a belt, sash or bodice over the gathering. *Please check my Shop Policies Page - FAQs for more information about a drawstring waist skirt. Here's a link: Note: The blouse, belt and black sash pictured are for display purposes only and not included in the listing. The chemise blouse and sash are available only by Special Order. The belt/waist cincher is for display only and not for sale. Skirt is pictured over a three hoop crinoline slip that is not included in the listing; skirt can be worn either with a hoop slip or without, but looks best with a crinoline slip or petticoat under it. I personally make all my clothing items, one at a time, in my smoke-free home studio. All seams are finished, no raw edges, and the seams are period correct, using french seams and rolled hems. Each item listed has the "ready to ship by" time frame and shipping charge mentioned. Click on the tab "Shipping & Policies", to the right of the "Item Details" tab, to locate this information. Shipping is paid by the buyer and item is shipped in a box via USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. My listings have a reduced shipping rate built in for extra items.
