Renaissance Center, Detroit, MI. Start and finish line for the two One Lap of America rallies that I participated in, 1985 and 1986. 1985 - 8,870 miles in seven days. 1986, a little less.

Detroit. I've always wanted to photograph the church in the backdrop of the Ren Cen. Nicely done :)

Renaissance is definitely the key word - my futuristic concepts are inspired by science (technology) and art. (GM Renaissance Center, Detroit, Michigan) #FaureciaNAIAS2014

Detroit's Renaissance Center Construction C. 1974: I had a friend, now deceased, who did electrical engineering work on this. THAT was NOT the remarkable part. He lived about 7 miles from the site, in a beautiful neighborhood in the city, and JOGGED downtown to work most of the time, down Woodward through Highland Park and Detroit.
