In the Philippines, Christianity is the national religion. Special ceremonies (like fiestas) are celebrated in honor of a patron saint. Although, there are other religions in this country - including Muslims, Catholic, Iglesia ni Cristo, and Buddhists. Similar to the Muslims in Islam, the Muslims in the Philippines also wear traditional clothing on a daily basis (such as the hijab).
