Red Scare began during the Cold War Era and was the fear of communist prominence. The reason why it is called the Red Scare is because of the communist red colors in the Soviet Unions flag.

This is a soviet propaganda, which explains their idea through the theme of the titanic. They are represented by the iceberg and the Americans showing that they will be defeated by the iceberg which is communism.
