Recipes for venison backstrap

Tried this tonight...Delicious recipe for venison tenderloin, so much better than pan fried!

I don't usually eat meat but my dad gave me some and I can't waste food! I ate mine with some pasta sauce because I found them a little dry. The taste of venison isn't my favorite but these are actually alright.

I personally am not a big fan on wild meat BUT my husband is!  With this recipe it doesn't taste 'gamey' at all. It's very tender as well.  I even go back for seconds!

My Venison Crockpot Stew.  So healthy and so good!  I used a backstrap 2 packages brown gravy mix 1 package Au Jus mix 2 1/2 cups of water Salt and pepper Crushed red pepper Put veggies you like in the bottom of the crockpot and meat on top Add mixes dissolved in warm water and season with salt and peppers. I cooked this for 5 hours in low.   Make sure your liquid is at least half way to the top.   You can thicken it with flour dissolved in water and cook an additional hour if you like.
