Yat Gaw Mein <3 this stuff! I tried to order it recently and didn't know that the Pork Yat Gaw Mein that resembles soup with lots of noodles is indigenous to Chinese and Creole cooking in NOLA. Miss the New Orleans kind; haven't been able to find it.

thai pineapple curry. this recipe was really good and actually very easy to make. I made it with chicken, and the sauce was a little too lime-y and fish-y (would go great with shrimp like the recipe is designed). Next time I will use 1 tbs less of fish sauce and wait to add the lime juice until the very end. Maybe will add a little more sugar too (i used brown sugar because i don't have palm sugar)
