Typewriters are now more of an antique, electric pencil sharpeners take the place of handheld ones, and the printer has certainly evolved to do way more than just print (fax, scan, copy, etc). We use the computer now to search for "the next software upgrade, cheaper RAM, faster chips, and the latest in connectivity. We can’t wait for the next paradigm shift" (Baron). This is true. We are always wanting more.
