Paper Airplane Target practice -- yes! Cut holes in a large piece of paper and have children aim their hand-made paper planes through. Set a certain number of tries, and give a prize to the winner who got the most planes through the holes.
Simple scavenger hunts for preschoolers are always a huge success! I give my students a list of ten items, a box to put them in, and split them up into teams of four! All teammates have to stay together as they find the items.
Fourth of July Firework Salt Painting - Busy Mommy Media _ This is such a cool art project for kids! It looks so neat when it is done. I love that it uses stuff I already have on hand. This would be awesome for a rainy day activity!
