KP - This is a timeline that can be hung up in the classroom to show events that led up to the Civil Rights Movement. It also shows events that have occurred after the movement, such as the establishment of Black History Month in 1976.
The simple use of pencils to show difference is a really smart idea which not only explains the poster immediately, but really grabs your attention. The background is nice and bright and gives the poster a happy feel, and the font is almost like a child's handwriting which goes well with the pencil idea.
