Secretariat is the greatest thoroughbred racing horse of all time. The triple crown winner in 1973, his records still stand in the Kentucky Derby (Mile & Quarter, 1:59.2) and Belmont Stakes, (Mile and one half, 2:24) a win of 31 lenghts. The Racing Form credits him with the Preakness record as well, but an official timing snafu cost him the record. This dynamo had the greatest 3 year run in the history of horse racing. The supreme runner in the Thoroughbred Pantheon non pareil.
