Pushing for what you want takes energy but is worth it in the end. Is there anything you did when you were a kid that you ended up quitting and now regret? For me it was piano. Now I'm learning how to play again after 12 years and am determined not to quit again. Allow yourself time to rest & take a little break and then go back at it once you re-energize. Rest > quit. /// SNAPCHAT: kellidav via @angela4design by @happsters
Ethan's father is not part of his life at all, due to leaving his mother after being abusive in the relationship. This quote contributes to his feeling of emptiness, like a piece missing literally and mentally. A father is a figure that children abide by and look up to, especially a son. His mother is affected as of he, contributing to his depression and anxiety. His dad has no input in his life so it leaves unanswered questions and thought provokes him into blaming himself.
Not just about break ups though, this applies to a lot of situations that God sets for us, that at first we don't want to be a part of but, when we realize the power of God then it really is a victorious stroke of luck that God is the one in charge.
