Living it! Is anyone else at the stage where beauty is no longer a conventional and outdated version of "pretty" as defined by media and advertising? Someone asked if I thought a particular woman was beautiful. I said I didn't know anything about her, so I didn't know if she was beautiful or not.
D. The one thing I miss most about you is your laugh. Your eyes and smile come second. I think you used to like my laugh. Even though it was loud and you had to shush me every now and again. I can still hear your laugh echoing in the memories that still remain. I wonder if you remember mine. T.
There are some especially well-versed old souls in my world, and many are about 20 or so years younger than me. Those who are older have lived a good life, and continually share their wit and wisdom with timing and sensitivity. However, the younger set can turn my thinking and feeling into many pauses, deep breaths, maybe some raised eyebrows, plenty of goosebumps, and definitely welcomed revelations of romance and candor.
