My husband is 6'3" and is a little bit too tall for the over the door pull up bar. He made a few trips to Lowe's and made this pull up bar out of pipe! Our garage ceiling is between 9-10 ft a it is perfect for him!!! (purchasing one to screw in our ceiling would have been $200!!!)
