The principle of Proximity is shown in this photo taken from a advertisement in a SilverKris magazine to promote a watch. The definition of the principle of Proximity is distance between elements in a picture or photo. As such, it is shown with a young girl hugging the woman next to her happily. The intimate contact of hugging from the young girl to the woman suggests that the two are feel comfortable around each other and very likely have a mother-and-daughter relationship.
"How to Set up a Farm Store" This is pretty much common sense, but there are still a few good ideas here. Alex and I definitely want to have a farm store! We just have to make sure of the local laws are regarding the proximity of food stuffs to a farm, what items can be sold and how, and things of that sort.
8.Proximity This menu is a diversity of different types of things but has been separated into a few categories such as 'appetizers' and 'pastas'. The objective of the separation of different categories is to keep the like items together and to create unity, as suggested by the definition of this principle of design. If the type of food is different, it would be placed in another area.
2.Proportion This poster is an example of the principle of design, 'proportion' The elements in this picture is the flowers. The smaller elements recede into the background, fulfilling the criteria proximity. The elements in the background are further behind the element in the foreground. As a result, it deliberately creates the perspective of the elements in the foreground to appear bigger and definitely clearer and explicit to the eyes of people.
