Riddick went back to its Pitch Black roots, just without the awesome monsters or phenomenal stunts by VD. The first 20min are survival and the one fight scene is the best of the movie. Then it becomes a been there done that movie. I was disappointed. UPDATE: Just saw the director's cut with alternate ending... OMG SOOOOO much better, explains things and adds depth. WTF is wrong with directors who produce a good movie and then cut it up so that it's not as good as it could be. SEE IT!!
