Beany and Cecil -- to older Boomers, they were favs on the puppet TV show Time For Beany (1949-1955) and for young Boomers they were a popular cartoon show from 1962-1969 - Both shows were developed by Bob Clampett -- there were Beany & Cecil comic books in the 50s and 60s as well.
