The Little or Blue penguin is just 12 inches tall, and the smallest of all penguin species. They live on sandy, rocky islands on the coastlines of Australia and New Zealand. While their conservation status is currently listed as "Least Concern," there have been recent drops in population, and many scientists are concerned about how climate change is affecting their habitat and food availability.
