Well he must've thought I was bad ass who didn't need sleep lol! Epilepsy and diabetes does not permit sleep. I often tell parents of newly diagnosed children that while the child grows, the disease is much like an infant. It keeps you up late at night, sometimes it keeps you worried when you can't get the number right and when it says pay attention you better pay attention! It's literally a war with death every day. All you can do is thank God for every day he blesses your child with.
One day, all your children will have is pictures of you. Make sure you're in them. No matter what your hair looks like, your makeup, or your body, they won't care about any of that, they'll just want to see you.
Thank You ! It took me up until last year to realize emotions do not make me "weak", quite the opposite. Now I am having to correct the wrong message I accidentally passed down to my son (along w society @large).
