Diana Gabaldon's idea of a short story ;) Definitely not as involved as the Outlander books, this is a much, much shorter novel & a quick read. The story is intriguing and pulled me right in so that I did not want to put it down after the first few chapters. These are up there with Gabaldon's Outlander series for me. Karen Moning is like the Michelangelo of creating sexy leading male characters. (I loved Barrons in her Fever series). Of the Highlander books, my faves are "Kiss" and "Dark" (MUST be read in order) and then "Tame." It doesn't get much better than Drustan, Dageus and Grimm.
