I would use this worksheet for narrative writing prompts for students. Before printing, I'd add "We all have fun stories to tell. Write to tell a story about...Select a topic below." at the top of the page and make copies from that.
I like this BUT I would change it slightly to make a better acronym. "BEST" (beginning, evidence/events, solution/summary, title--> which prompts the writer to review their writing to see if the main idea is evident) W.O.
Writing Prompt: Tell the story either from the dog's or an observer's point of view about the incident that led to this crash. Be sure to include a complete setting, precise verbs and dialog in your story.
