Name writing activities: LOVE this worksheet. "I can write my name with a crayon, pencil, marker, pen & piece of chalk." Have students do this at the beginning, middle & end of the year. Or even every month to show progress!

Name activities: Cute "Spill & Spell" name game, made from colorful Popsicle sticks. I review colors & counting, as well as name recognition & spelling with this quick, easy & fun game. Students also trade with classmates to put their name puzzle together too. Later, I pass out extra sticks to those who don't have at least 6. I call out a shape or capital letter & they arrange the sticks to create whatever I'm asking for. Super-fun way to whole group assess!
