Crossing a crevasse in the Khumbu Icefall, 5,486 metres (17,999 ft) on the Nepali slopes of Mount Everest not far above Base Camp and southwest of the summit. The icefall is regarded as one of the most dangerous stages of the South Col route to Everest's summit.
mt everest - one of the natural seven wonders of the world - Buddhists believe a goddess lives in the mountain and she decides who summits, who doesn't, who makes it down safely, and who doesn't. She doesn't take kindly to big egos or those who try to "conquer" her. Humble respect always.
Standing at about 29,029 feet (8,848 meters), Everest boasts the top spot for the tallest mountain in the world. It is located on the border between Sagarmatha Zone, Nepal, and Tibet, China and is part of the Himalayan Mountain Range. <> Thank you for my trip Hotelrade.com
