1972 CZ Factory Racing Motorcycle. Jaroslav Falta is a former motocross racer from the former Czechoslovakia. As a member of the CZ factory racing team, Falta was one of the top motocross racers of the early 1970s in the F.I.M. 250cc motocross World Championships.
Lackey: He was inspired as a youngster when he had an opportunity to race against Joël Robert in CA. He recalled watching Robert practice his starts, "These were the days before start gates so you had to place your left (clutch) hand on your helmet until you got the start signal. Robert would wind his CZ up, kick in gear at the start, wheelie it all the way through the gears and then finally pull his hand down at the first turn.."
Heikki Mikkola, the “Flyin’ Finn” was one of the most popular and feared motocross racers of the 1970s. During his illustrious career, Mikkola collected four World Grand Prix Motocross Championship titles. In 1974 he won the World Grand Prix 500cc Championship on a Husqvarna. The bike that got American motocross off the ground– the 1963 Husqvarna (Husky) Racer.
