KANSAS CITY, Mo. – It’s hard to believe, but this is the final regular season Friday night of Missouri high school football! Districts begin next week. On the Kansas side it's Week 7. Blue Valley and Basehor-Linwood are the only remaining undefeated teams on that side of the state line. Roosevelt High School, Missouri - Part of the schools campus was built on an old cemetery, only the Head stones of the graves were moved to another location but the actual bodies remained in place. Many people have claimed to have seen apparitions walking on the football field, which is were part of the cemetery was, only to vanish into thin air. Also

Boxer Cpl Ken Norton, Sr US Marine Corps (Served 1963-1967) Short Bio: Norton starred in high school football, basketball and track. He attended Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University) on a football scholarship but was hampered by a shoulder injury in his first two seasons and enlisted in the Marine Corps. Norton started boxing while he was in the Marines, compiling an amateur record of 24-2 and winning the All-Marine Heavyweight Championship three times.
