Just as the butterfly flies freer after having known what it’s like to crawl on the ground, the places we think are stagnant are really vital parts of a process God brings us through. And whatever part of the process you are in, it will ultimately make you a beautiful, vibrant, flying creature.
Life Cycles & Metamorphosis: Science Stations, Articles & Graphic Organizers
Using the Frayer Model to outline the definition, characteristics and examples of a life cycle, specifically those related to a metamorphosis.
The basic definition: An·i·mism is the attribution of the metamorphosis of the soul into an animals, birds, fish, insects, plants, inanimate objects, and natural phenomena. In other words…. shape-shifting. There is a whole world out there that grabs a word like animism, without having any idea of what it means much less ever experiences it in their life. One experience of anything is not a “knowing” but people philosophies it, hippodrome it, troll it, chaos magick it and more.
Flipper puzzles are a fun way to review vocabulary. Students match words to definitions, then 'flip' puzzle board over to check answers. Yay! Self-checking. This set is great for teaching 5th grade life science vocabulary to prepare students for the STAAR test. Units include Ecosystems, Food Chains and Food Webs, Environmental Changes, Carbon Dioxide and Oxygen Cycle, Adaptations, Inherited Traits and Learned Behaviors, and Insect Metamorphosis.
