The hero print for Cruise 2017 is a playful design named after Maracas Bay in Trinidad. It was painted by hand in our London studio, using a combination of oil and acrylic paints for a loose, bold feel. Bountiful Peruvian lilies and vivid bird of paradise plants stand out against deep green foliage. The oil paints have rendered the petals almost 3D-like in quality. Matthew Williamson has collaborated with installation artist Rebecca Louise Law and Blakes London on a very special bohemian hideaway. Named The Hendrick’s Horticultural Oasis, it opens next week, coinciding with The RHS Chelsea Flower Show. #MWblakes #ChelseaFlowerShow
Matthew Williamson’s home features in this month’s Living Etc magazine with a full article entitled ‘bohemian rhapsody’. The parrot wallpaper featured behind the mirror above the fireplace gives this room an exotic interior touch. Click to read more.
