The Malbec grape is used to produce medium to full-bodied, dry red wine with good acidity and higher tannins and alcohol levels. The grapes tend to have dark, inky purple color profiles and ripe fruit flavors of cherry, plum and blackberry, which give to Malbec wines a decidedly jammy character.
Cranberry Red Wine Sangria for Thanksgiving 1 750 ML bottle Malbec 4 C unsweetened Cranberry juice 6 packets Splenda 1 C fresh cranberries 1 orange cut in thin slices 1 apple cored and sliced Combine liquids and Splenda. Stir until dissolved. Add remaining ingredients. Chill for 4-6 hours or overnight. Stir and pour into classes over ice. Garnish as desired.
