“A relationship means giving the best of yourself to someone that truly deserves it.” —Unknown “You don’t love someone for their looks, or their clothes, or their fancy car, but because they sing a song only you can hear.”—Oscar Wilde
"But love, I've come to understand, is more than three words mumbled before bedtime. Love is sustained by action, a pattern of devotion in the things we do for each other every day." - From the novel "The Wedding" by Nicholas Sparks
This is from the book The Last Battle. I saw it suggested as a wedding quote which I understand as it has such a sweet happily-ever-after message that goes along with weddings, but in its original context the quote was used to tell the reader the outcome for the characters after their death. I think I would like it used at my funeral--to celebrate the true happily ever after.
