Italian Fried Long Hot Peppers Preheat oven to 375. Wash and dry peppers. Place in an oven proof pan/dish. Drizzle enough olive oil over the peppers to coat the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper (optional - add whole, peeled garlic cloves). Bake until peppers are soft with dark, roasted marks. When peppers cool, cut off stem ends and remove seeds - you can cut into small pieces or leave intact. Pour oil from pan over peppers.
