Derry is one of the oldest cities in Ireland, so wherever you wander in this ancient city, you are never too far from a little bit of history. It is the only remaining completely walled city in all of Ireland. ڿڰۣ (Northern Ireland)
The views from Whiterocks, on the border of County Antrim and County Londonderry, are spectacular: open ocean, the headlands out towards the Giant’s Causeway, the snowy cliffs. The soft, sedimentary rock of this coastline has been carved by the sea over centuries into the Wishing Arch, Elephant Rock, and Lion’s Paw: all much-loved, richly storied and unmissable sights along the waterfront.
