Mastering light -- or even just taming it-- is one of the biggest and most difficult challenges facing any photographer. Regardless of whether you shoot in a studio full of strobes, or venture out on location with nothing but a reflector, overcoming the stumbling blocks that lighting throws in our way all boils down to the same set of tasks-- understanding how light works, and making it work for you.
I dare you to “look away” – you can’t, can you?! Nope, me either. Oooh, I love this installation, text-based light work by American artist Steve Lambert. I want all of it… I would have the artsiest, most well-lit home on the block! VERY COOL!
Christmas lights and balls in a basket. Any decent bowl, especially glass will give you a completely different look. A glass bowl will also give you more light. Works well with pine cones too. Love this idea!!! I will try with battery lights. - We have some nice glass bowls to display like this for the Auction - great idea.
