Just watched "Life of Pi". Not for everyone, but I liked it. Director Ang Lee's adaptation of Yann Martel's "L'histoire de Pi" based on Moacyr Scliar's novella "Max and the Cats, with a wicked twist. Rudyard Kipling's the "Jungle Book" meets the true story of the "Mignonette" as anyone familiar with Maritime Law or Contracts will tell you. LOL
Life of Pi... "Even when God seemed to have abandoned me, he was watching. Even when he seemed indifferent to my suffering, he was watching. And when I was beyond all hope of saving, he gave me rest. Then he gave me a sign to continue my journey."
Life of Pi (2012) -- Great movie A young man who survives a disaster at sea is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery. While cast away, he forms an unexpected connection with another survivor: a fearsome Bengal tiger.
I read a fair bit but not all books stay with me the way "Life of Pi" has done. While I was reading it I remember thinking that this could never be made into a film. In walks Ang Lee! Life of Pi Trailer 2 Official
