#BirchGreen’s big day - One of Birch Green’s oldest residents, Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Burrows, couldn’t make it to her granddaughter’s #wedding, so the wedding came to her.  Betty, 95, was unable to attend granddaughter Janet’s wedding day due to ill health. Janet married husband Lee at #Ormskirk registry office, with a #reception at nearby Briars Hall Hotel where guests enjoyed a meal of #fishandchips.
