The Last Supper, painted by Leonardo da Vinci in 1495-1498, is one of the most famous paintings done on fresco. It depicts the scene of Jesus telling his twelve disciples that one of them will betray him. I like this painting becuase there are a ton of different symbols in this painting, such as the windows in the background that represents heaven.
"Last supper" set up for Sunday school. At each seat, add name of a disciple. Include food like flat or pita bread, grape juice. Have the children say the words of Jesus and break bread with each other. A fun and memorable way to learn about this special event
