With the decline of labor unions, comes the rise of women's unions. Whether the decline is in the public or private sector, the decline in over all members comes with it. With the "right to work" bill in place, women are more likely to loose the comfort of a higher wage within the union than nonunion women. This bill basically lowers the negotiation and bargaining aspect of unions with companies.
For almost 40 years now, up to 300 large corporations have spent billions of dollars on pushing ALEC’s model legislations, including the so-called “Right-to-work,” to attack labor unions and workers’ rights.
