A blog dedicated to the creativeness and contentment of keepers at home.
Nancy has definitely softened her stance on women being keepers at home and I can understand why. Women are merciless in trying to get me to soften my stance but I try hard to stay true to Scripture. Feminism has invaded the Church and made it very difficult to teach women to be keepers at home. Nancy still clearly teaches the value of women being keepers at home but gives many exceptions and I know there are some, but it's difficult when exceptions become the majority.
How cool is this?? Quite a powerful image of a woman's role. | woman wielding a sword - In Titus 2, Paul instructs elder women to teach young women to be “keepers at home”. The Greek word translated “keepers at home” (KJV) or “homemakers” (NKJV) is oikouros. This compound word is from oikos- house, household, family; and ouros- a guard, guardian, a watcher. Let this thought sink in: the word “oikouros” translated “keepers at home” carries the meaning of “watching the house, of a watchdog”.

Keepers of the Faith - can't wait to get started!! It's like a 4-H/Girl Scouts (they have Contenders of the Faith for boys) from a conservative Christian perspective. Kids earn pins for their sash when they meet requirements for Bible study, crafts, books, etc.
They act so spiritual. They stand up in front of churches behind pulpits. They are loud and commanding in the way they speak. They make up new words that sound spiritual but are not biblical. They leave their homes, husbands, and children to “minister” to women. You won’t hear them teaching about submitting to and obeying their husbands or being keepers at home.
