Classic Pecan Pie - this is the recipe I always used in the past off the Karo Syrup bottle. I hadn't made one in years, didn't have any Karo syrup, and googled it. Technology can be great! Plan on making it as one of my desserts for Thanksgiving.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mini Pecan Pies, Karo Syrup - easy to make. Used light corn syrup and baked on 350* for 22 minutes. One pie crust makes 20 mini pies-used rim of small mason jar to cut circles. Stretch the dough just a bit before placing in tin. Be careful not to overfill-creates a sticky hard texture making it difficult to remove from the mini muffin cups.
Ko-ko-nut pie recipe (1950) Variations: Pecan or Peanut pie — Follow above recipe for Karo Ko-ko-nut pie. Substitute 1 cup pecans or peanuts for the coconut and 1 teaspoon vanilla for the lemon juice. Reduce salt to 1/4 teaspoon.
